Inoda + Sveje 2022
The Sendai collection is named for the Japanese city of trees. This is suggested by the elegant legs of these pieces which are reminiscent of slender trunks. This line of furnishing pieces consists of a small sofa, an armchair and dining and lounge small armchairs.

Dimensions : Armchair : 740 W x 760 D x 720 H (fixed) or 680 H (swivel), 430 SH. Small armchair : 650 W x 670 D x 670 H (fixed and swivel), 430 SH mm.
Options : Two sizes, fixed or swivel. Legs in canaletto walnut stained light brown or ash lacquered liquorice colour. Fabric or leather.
Material : Structure : solid ash or walnut, metal frame, plywood platform. Cushions : high resilience polyurethane foam.
Inoda + Sveje
Inoda + Sveje was formed by Osaka born Kyoko Inoda and Danish Nils Sveje in 2000. Their Milan based studio and gallery draws on their respective nations traditions of expert craft, refinement and simplicity. These traditions trace a connection back to the 19th Century Scandinavian infatuation with Japanese design and their meticulous approach towards woodworking. This history is often reflected in Inoda + Sveje’s work with ultimate sophistication, careful detailing and craftsmanship as well as the respect for natural materials that is exemplified through both culture’s design heritage.
