The perfect relaxation companion, this beautifully crafted armchair slips seamlessly into the various arrangements of the Quadrado system, and can be used individually or together with other seats. The Teak structure, with metal details in Light Bronze finish, have straight armrests and accommodate the padded backrest cushions and seat.

Marcio Kogan
Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan (b. 1952) established Studio MK27 in São Paolo in the late 1970s. Working in the tradition of mid-century Brazilian modernism, his furniture is an adroit rendering of architectonic forms in natural materials, typically timber and neutral upholsteries. Kogan’s work for Minotti is emblematic of his unique style of luxurious, 21st century classicism.

Built around a curved aluminium frame, Coupé can be configured as a flexible system or as individual pieces, including a generous couch with a distinctive double inclination. The foot of the frame protects the upholstered base while sharpening the silhouette from every angle. Designed by @giampiero.tagliaferri for @minotti_spa.
Coupé balances soft, ergonomic forms with a strong horizontal line, as the padded headrest and lumbar elements intersect with the curved profile of the armrest. Its inclined seat recalls a modernist approach to comfort—designed to embrace the body rather than simply accommodate it. Designed by @giampiero.tagliaferri for @minotti_spa.
Coupé by @giampiero.tagliaferri revisits the sculptural language of 1960s and ’70s seating through overlapping rounded volumes and an inclined, enveloping profile. Tone-on-tone longitudinal stitching traces the leather upholstery from headrest to seat, a precise detail that reflects the couture-inspired craftsmanship of @minotti_spa.

A floor and suspension luminaire for diffuse indoor illumination, Umasi brings softness to the space as light passes through three paper-covered PETG shades, dissolving shadows and smoothing outlines. With a shade that travels along the wire from ceiling to floor, Umasi is designed to adapt to the architecture and create a quiet sense of warmth and familiarity.
