ELAS by Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27 is a seating family conceived as a constellation of forms. It draws inspiration from women who shaped twentieth-century design, architecture, and art. The collection expresses a domestic vision that is sensitive, refined, and human. It brings posture, gesture, and material into a clear and consistent design language.
The wicker version of Elas is defined by a woven shell that gives the collection its distinctive character. Available in bergère, armchair, and footstool configurations, it combines craftsmanship with soft, organic volumes. Each piece can be specified with a swivel metal base in a bronze finish or a solid wood base. Cushions are integrated into the structure, while the bergère includes a sculptural, leaf-shaped headrest that softens its profile. The system is completed by matching ottomans and compact variants, with selected wooden versions featuring a marble insert on one armrest. Designed for interior and transitional spaces, Elas moves easily between settings while maintaining a calm and coherent identity.

Marcio Kogan
Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan (b. 1952) established Studio MK27 in São Paolo in the late 1970s. Working in the tradition of mid-century Brazilian modernism, his furniture is an adroit rendering of architectonic forms in natural materials, typically timber and neutral upholsteries. Kogan’s work for Minotti is emblematic of his unique style of luxurious, 21st century classicism.

This month, @paola_lenti_official hosted a series of workshops at our Sydney and Melbourne showrooms, demonstrating their Chromatic Alphabet to a collection of local architecture and design professionals.
The Chromatic Alphabet displays hundreds of materials from the Paola Lenti library which are the result of more than 30 years of research. This library of texture and colour forms the foundation of the Paola Lenti design language, and is used as a tool to design the space and palette of a project.
The Chromatic Alphabet installation remains on display in our showrooms throughout July, alongside the latest collection from Paola Lenti. You’re welcome to visit and play.
