Bambou
Bambou
Nicolò Morales
Bambou is a dramatic screening backdrop made and finished by hand in exclusive colours by Nicolò Morales. The glazed cylinders composing the Bambou backdrops are painted by hand with luminous and transparent colours, which allow for the porosity and the imperfection of the terracotta surface to show through.
For fixing to the ceiling, a structure is available, made of white matt varnished steel and provided with steel cables. Bambou is designed and produced in custom dimensions to meet the specific requirements of the client.
Nicolò Morales
Born in Caltagirone in 1973, Nicolò Morales is a renowned ceramic artist whose work bridges tradition and innovation. His creations, celebrated both in Italy and internationally, include notable collaborations with architect Ugo La Pietra and designer Paola Lenti, blending ceramics with contemporary design. Morales’ works are featured in esteemed collections, including a majolica plate with the papal coat of arms, presented to Pope Benedict XVI and admired by Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone. “I’m happily subversive. Tradition is an obstacle.”
