Seating / Lounge / Jacques High Armchair

The Jacques collection includes sofas, and ottomans available in several sizes, originated from a common design seed that transforms a vaguely retro style into a symbol of contemporary style.

A sophisticated aesthetic language that is expressed in soft shapes, compact proportions and details with striking visual impact, like the metal base with Light Bronze finish.

Thanks to its soft seat cushion and backrest padding, the Jacques bergère with swivel base is extremely comfortable and lends itself to the creation of spaces where relaxation is key. When combined with its ottoman and the Song coffee table that embraces the armchair with its organic shape, it becomes a functional table-top surface for a lamp or to display various kinds of objects.

Born in Milan in 1954, Rodolfo Dordoni graduated as an architect in 1979 and until 1989 he was responsible for the art direction of Cappellini, while designing for a variety of brands including Cassina, Artemide, Driade, Moroso and Flos. Since 1998 he has been the artistic director of Minotti, coordinating all the company’s collections as well as designing many Minotti showrooms around the world.

Now helmed by the third generation of the Minotti family, Rodolfo Dordoni guarantees the modern-classic aspect of the portfolio while collaborations with designers including Frenchman Christophe Delcourt and Japan’s nendo bring in fresh perspective.
