Capri Base is the new edition of the iconic Capri armchair designed by Gordon Guillaumier. The result of a design study based on subtraction, Capri Base appears as a sculptural form emptied inside to create a soft curved shell, made even more comfortable by its goose-down seat cushion. The only concession to the geometric rigour is the square Pewter-coloured metal base on which the upholstered volume rests.
