The acrobatic and apparently precarious Fosbury LED Floor and Suspension Lamp adds a distinctive sculptural quality to any room. Blurring the lines between design and art, Fosbury was inspired by the mobiles of Alexander Calder.
Davide Groppi
Davide Groppi (1963) started his career in mechanical design before segueing into lighting in 1988. A meeting with Maddelana De Padova led to his prototype ‘Baloo’ lamp being exhibited at the Salone del Mobile, and his career has followed a bright trajectory ever since. He has collaborated with prestige brands including Boffi, Mutina, Paola Lenti and Christofle as well as developing lighting under his own brand Davide Groppi.
About Davide Groppi
