Sandy is defined by a continuous design gesture that forms the armrest, seat and backrest in one sculptural profile. A geometric aluminium base with ultra-slim legs supports the fluid form while adding structural precision. As a result, the collection balances visual lightness with architectural clarity. It includes a two-seater sofa, dormeuse with matching side table, armchair, and dining armchair for residential and hospitality outdoor settings.
Manufactured entirely from aluminium, Sandy is engineered for permanent outdoor use. Glossy finishes in Chestnut, Forest Green, Dark Brown, Warm Grey and Dust reinforce its refined appearance, while tailored seat and back cushions provide comfort without compromising the clean silhouette. Together, these elements create an outdoor collection that combines durability, material performance, and contemporary design.

In 2002, Oki Sato opened his architecture and design practice named nendo – meaning ‘clay’ in Japanese, as the studio prides itself on being as flexible as that venerable material. Internationally renowned for his multi-faceted approach, which spans from graphic design to product design, and from architecture to the creation of installations, Oki Sato officially joined the Minotti team of designers in 2018. With his light, fresh and minimal style, he creates designs with a big personality and a poetic touch.

This month, @paola_lenti_official hosted a series of workshops at our Sydney and Melbourne showrooms, demonstrating their Chromatic Alphabet to a collection of local architecture and design professionals.
The Chromatic Alphabet displays hundreds of materials from the Paola Lenti library which are the result of more than 30 years of research. This library of texture and colour forms the foundation of the Paola Lenti design language, and is used as a tool to design the space and palette of a project.
The Chromatic Alphabet installation remains on display in our showrooms throughout July, alongside the latest collection from Paola Lenti. You’re welcome to visit and play.
