Passarella by Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27 is a family of storage units conceived as domestic micro-architecture. It is defined by a strong architectural gesture, where material and structure work as one. Each version shares a distinctive feature: a wooden back panel that extends to the floor and becomes a structural foot, lifting the volume and creating a sense of continuity when placed side by side.
The collection includes living, dining, and vertical cabinet versions. The living unit has a low, horizontal profile with large drawers that emphasise its linear form, finished in wood veneer or lacquer with details in bronze or chrome. The dining version combines storage and function with refined drawers and discreet flap doors. The vertical cabinet extends the system upward, integrating drawers, marble elements, and internal lighting for enhanced usability. The result is a modular system where structure, clarity, and material precision define a cohesive architectural language.

Marcio Kogan
Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan (b. 1952) established Studio MK27 in São Paolo in the late 1970s. Working in the tradition of mid-century Brazilian modernism, his furniture is an adroit rendering of architectonic forms in natural materials, typically timber and neutral upholsteries. Kogan’s work for Minotti is emblematic of his unique style of luxurious, 21st century classicism.

This month, @paola_lenti_official hosted a series of workshops at our Sydney and Melbourne showrooms, demonstrating their Chromatic Alphabet to a collection of local architecture and design professionals.
The Chromatic Alphabet displays hundreds of materials from the Paola Lenti library which are the result of more than 30 years of research. This library of texture and colour forms the foundation of the Paola Lenti design language, and is used as a tool to design the space and palette of a project.
The Chromatic Alphabet installation remains on display in our showrooms throughout July, alongside the latest collection from Paola Lenti. You’re welcome to visit and play.
