A new addition to the Metamorfosi collection Bruco is interior seat with symmetrical side backrests, inspired by the round and elongated shape of the caterpillar waiting to turn into a butterfly. The upholstery cover is removable and is made with cut-outs of Paola Lenti felt stitched together in Punto Zigzag stitch and then decorated with machine embroidery. The embroidery follows a predetermined pattern, which varies slightly from time to time according to the movements of the machine operator. Bruco is available in two sizes.
The Metamorfosi collection has been awarded the Green GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2023 and the NYCxDesign Award 2023 in the category of Environmental Impact.
