Fabulous, original and eye catching are just a few words to describe the minimalist design of the stackable (up to 4) Stool One by Konstantin Grcic for Magis. Through his industrial style, he has constructed a form that's statuesque, elegant and hard to forget.
The legs are made of aluminium and the seat of die-cast aluminium. The seat is treated with sputtered fluorinated titanium and painted in polyester powder. Fire-resistant.
The One family is extremely versatile, and suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
Available in five colours and two heights.
Konstantin Grcic (b. 1965) trained as a cabinet maker a the John Makepeace School in London before studying design at the Royal College of Art. Setting up his own studio in 1991, his work incarnates this duel heritage: a highly refined industrial eye combined with respect for the maker’s craft. Based in Berlin, he has designed furniture, lighting and objects for brands including Magis, Flos, Cassina and Classicon.
Magis prides itself on a wide-ranging catalogue of products that span from the aesthetically pure to the stylistically expressive. This deliberate eclecticism allows the brand to constantly push at the parameters of design.
