After studying photography at Elam School of Fine Arts in the 1990s, I worked with some of New Zealand’s leading ad agencies, fashion houses and record labels before taking a break to travel around the world. On my return I explored the business side of print media, amongst other things working on the international award winning design magazine POL Oxygen. It is here that I developed a love of publishing, how images are placed, cut and reinterpreted graphically.
Today, based in Melbourne, my photographic focus is contemporary architecture and interiors. With an acute eye for light, form and surface, along with an aspiration to push my client’s expectations further, I am now looking at the built environment from a slightly different angle.
