Our task was to seamlessly integrate the relaxed nature of our clients' relationship with their home and its surroundings with an intensely detailed design execution that celebrated the architecture, harmonised the clients' aesthetic and developed a cohesive, joyful, balanced yet effortless home.
The clients wanted a kitchen that would feel substantial and also form a natural extension of the larger living space.
Arent & Pyke have a shared passion, a respect for balance and the desire to give balance to peoples lives through their interiors.
The distinctly modern pavilion house includes figured marble in the kitchen and bathroom, custom timber joinery and hand made concrete tiles.
Form and function were carefully balanced with the inclusion of a large timber servery used daily by the family for eating and working, and to screen the sink from view when entertaining.
Timber and copper detailing bring natural stone to life.
What we love most about this kitchen is the expansive Calacatta marble and finishing elements such as the timber edging and copper lighting.
