The Light Brigade Hotel is an icon of Sydney’s pub scene, and a fantastic example of Art Deco architecture. The opportunity to redesign two floors including a rooftop bar, allowed for the creation of distinct destinations within the hotel.
The level two cocktail bar is sophisticated, and references 1920s glamour and joie-de-vivre. A strong colour palette and striking detailing, including five new archways into function rooms and lounges creates a new offering to this historic building.
Upwards to the rooftop bar, designed to feel as casual as a neighbour’s terrace, lush planting and a restrained palette form a background to the views of blue skies, Paddington rooftops and Sydney Harbour skyline.
