The CaesarStone showroom is a display case of the company’s extensive range of composite stone products. Primarily, the design uses a clean and simple palette of materials to highlight several aspects of CaesarStone: its range of colours and textures, its strength and durability and its finish or translucency.
The showroom, located inside the new Domayne/Space complex in Alexandria, is open to industry professionals as well as the general public.
The showroom is a long thin space, oriented with activities along the long axis to draw visitors into the showroom and towards the back, where backlit panels are displayed in the conference room.
The organisation of the space is structured by a rhythm of slots in the polyurethane finished ceiling concealing the services. It then extends to the floor, where stainless steel grates punctuate the concrete slab.
The showroom operates as a relaxed, working studio, with the display areas and offices side by side, as opposed to relegating the offices to a back of house area.
To afford a degree of privacy to the offices, they are separated from the main space by a series of frosted glass sliding panels, inscribed with the graphic representation of the quartz formula: quartz being the main component in CaesarStone.
