The design brief was very simple - show off the views and to express the design language of the building itself.

The best views were used for public areas eg reception, boardroom, and a block of 4 meeting rooms.

The meeting rooms were pulled away from the windows to create a galleria that one passes through from reception on the way to the boardroom.

Sunlight floods in through huge windows to the east, bleaching the limestone floors a dazzling white.

Deliberate spatial definition and vistas were important. The floorplan ensured circulation was kept open and allows for spontaneous communications , thus supporting the organisations team based environment.

Key managers were given window side offices, however the internal walls of the offices were full height glass so that those on the inner perimeters were able to enjoy the light and views.
