Seperation of structural elements held together in tenuous but purposeful repose. This house is a celebration of vertical and horizontal spatial extension using cantilevered structures
The living / dining room projects out from the house within a west facing glass box. A parents retreat suite is situated on the highest floor level.
This project represents a gleaming composition of cubic masses placed on a sandstone base which houses the garage and plant room. Once reaching the elevated plateau, the cantileverd architectonics are worked in disposition of solid and void.
The living room presents a postcard image of the harbour residence with full expanse of the Opera house / Harbour bridge double act.
