The owners of Sydney's Kirketon and Medusa boutique hotels moved with their daughter from a large family house to the three bedroomed Darlinghurst apartment, and in doing so, made a completely new start with furniture and fittings a modular Minotti sofa almost large enough to live in, Saarinen dining table, and Bertoia chairs and low Saarinen table on the balcony. Alongside these are the occasional very unfussy one off pieces, such as a 12th century low Chinese bench and a 1940s standard lamp.
