This new Melbourne office by Hassell Architects for real estate company Jones Lang LaSalle is as much a design and fitout exercise as it is an expression of the company's corporate image.
Hassell have designed a large common breakout area as the office hub, linked between floors by a central staircase. This hub is a key informal interaction zone that encourages collaboration and open communication and eliminates boundaries.
There are many 'zones' throughout the office, such as the circulation gallery, meeting rooms and lounges that evoke different varying experiences through lighting, tonal, textural and reflective treatments.
