Anthony Fretwell is an architectural and commercial photographer who is based in Sydney and works throughout Australia.
He works for architects, builders, developers, interior designers, engineers, corporations and small businesses. Most of his work comes from repeat business or personal referrals.
Anthony is passionate about photography and the subjects he photographs. He goes the extra mile to ensure he delivers images that meet his clients’ brief and exceed their expectations. He has a reputation for producing great shots in difficult and high-pressure situations, such as the last chaotic days before project handover.
Over his 20+ year career, Anthony has won many awards, including the Australian Institute of Professional Photography Ilford Trophy. He enjoys finding the beauty in urban scenes and industrial landscapes. For example, he photographed the Newcastle steel works in its final month of operation and held a solo exhibition of images of the decommissioned White Bay Power Station.
He is also an enthusiastic father and traveller, a die-hard David Bowie fan, and an aficionado of WW2 aeroplanes.
