The aesthetic and design merits of the Powell sofa extend into the sleep zone and come together in the bed of the same name, the classic sommier (bed base) whose lines and proportions have been reinterpreted in a contemporary key.
The imposing size size of the bed is contrasted by the frame of the base, made of extruded aluminium with die-cast aluminium joints, and available in sand, celadon, granite, plum and pewter colors, lending lightness, and giving it the appearance of being suspended in air.
The headboard is generously cushioned and comes in two heights cm 94 and cm 121, that correspond to different styles of decor. For a lookthat says minimal chic, the Powell bed with slim-line headboard; and the taller headboard for setting that require a more decorative flourish.
The sophisticated simplicity of the Powell bed is a sign of its natural inclination to inhabit any setting with elegance and discretion; it wears the fabrics and skins from the Minotti collection with equal ease.
