Internationally acclaimed designers Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby founded their studio in 1996 after graduating with Master’s degrees in Architecture from The Royal College of Art in London.

Alongside their eponymous studio, in 2001 Barber and Osgerby founded Universal Design Studio, now recognized as one of the world’s most innovative creative design consultancies working in architecture, interiors and exhibition design.

BARBER AND OSGERBY ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT STOOL

Features a robust cast aluminium base finished with a highly durable powder coat paint in a variety of colors. The geometric, elementary framework of the base is an interpretation of the familiar tripod structure; its tripod legs visually contained by two rings. The adjustable height stool is not suitable for outdoor use.

Aluminium seats are die-cast with either polished or powder coat finish

Wood seats are either ebonized ash or oiled teak

Continuous height adjustment achieved with stainless steel threaded rod

Base is die-cast aluminium with stainless steel fasteners

Barber Osgerby is the London studio of Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby (both b. 1969), established in 1996. Their work encompasses furniture, lighting, product and graphic design, as well as interior architecture via their Universal Design Studio. Designers of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic torch and a £2 commemorate coin, they have collaborated with prestige brands including Vitra, Cappellini, Flos, Knoll and Emeco.

Knoll products are defined by a distinct modern sensibility. From classics by the likes of Mies van der Rohe to ground-breaking designs by contemporary creatives including Marc Newson, David Adjaye, Barber Osgerby and Rem Koolhaas.
